WALKABOUT 5 - Goodjinburra Country Fingal NSW (Podcast edit) by CHOPSUEY Roaming Radio published on 2021-02-23T11:30:12Z This 60 minute podcast tells the story of the people behind the lyrics in the hip hop track "My Connection" by the Boonignbar Goories on Goodjinburrah country (Fingal NSW) during the Desert Pea Media "Break it Down" project tour. Supported by the North Coast Primary Health Network the projects aim to open up yarns around mental health and wellbeing, bringing it out into the open to create art based media driven by the community. In this edition we get to meet the saltwater people whos home is the sandy peninsular that divides the Tweed River and the Tasman Ocean. We learn more about the Garrama (Respect) they have for their country, culture and one another.
