Dr Iris Lim is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Health Science and Medicine and Bond University and teaches neurophysiology in Bond's biomedical science and medical programs.

Here Dr Lim talks us through the biological mechanics of sleep - why the brain needs it, why the body craves it, and why our neurophysiological desks would be a mess of unfiled paperwork without it.

Dr Lim is talking to broadcaster Matt Webber.
