• • • WHY WE HAVE MADE THE ‘BUSHFIRE AID’ VA SERIES • • •

The bushfires that ravaged our home of Australia between September 2019 - February 2020 are one of the most savage and disastrous natural events that the country has ever known.

Over 25.5 million hectares of land were burnt (110,000+ square kilometres), 3000+ homes destroyed, 30 people and more than 1 billion mammals, birds and reptiles died.

100% of the proceeds from each sale of Bushfire Aid VA Series Part 1 and Part 2 will officially go directly to the Australian Wildlife Conservency’s Bushfire Response Campaign, as they work tirelessly in the field to protect numerous species of animals that are now endangered and threatened due to the bushfire season disaster of 2019/20.

Upon donating, aside from the music you will also receive a pdf file from AWC themselves with specifics on the Bushfire Response Campaign that you will be supporting with your donation.

Part 1 and Part 2 are available for 20 AUD each, but of course you have the option to donate more when purchasing if you wish.

All tracks on the release are exclusive to the Bushfire Aid VA Series and are not available anywhere for single track purchase.

Bassic Records has banded together 34 of Australia’s best electronic music producers to create the Bushfire Aid VA Series - 27 tracks, across 2 albums, spanning deep melancholic electronica and house, through to dark and emotive progressive techno. Not one of us is unaffected by this disaster, be it directly, emotionally or chord struck within our soul.

Everyone involved in this release has donated their time and skills to this cause. Thank you so much to Hugo Hayes at Sonus Victus for mastering 22 of the 27 tracks, Gabriel Moraes for his A&R support working with most contributing producers, Shanti Whitten for her incredible interpretation of our vision in her beautiful album art and of course to the 34 incredible producers who have donated music to this cause to make it the beautiful project that it has become.
