Brothers Justin and Ian Gregory together inhabit the enigma that is the artist John Emerson, an alter ego created by combining their two middle names. The result is a singular musical perspective that channels their parallel personalities and philosophies into original songs you’ll want to listen to again and again.

John Emerson explores a panorama of emotions and reflections with an array of noteworthy song structures and production styles, taking as many cues from Rock and R&B as from Hip Hop and Electronic music, to create an experience that is both new and familiar at the same time.

Originally from Detroit, Justin and Ian have built a solid reputation as producers and engineers in Colorado Springs, collaborating with a range of artists in the blossoming local scene. Now at last, John Emerson puts them back behind the mic for what is perhaps their most experimental, personal, and lyric-driven project to-date!
