From Art Pop to Lo-fi Breakbeat to Hip hop Electronic Funk Soul, this EP promises to take you on a journey. Packed with that sublime energy that all debuts have; this is the composer’s first release. Each song has a different focus when it comes to the drums. Whether they used field recordings, the scatter function of the TR8 (drum machine) or live drums, Blue keeps things interesting.

Blue had always written songs and during the pandemic they started learning to produce themselves, which led to them getting into a music university in Berlin. They have spent a year collaborating with new friends and classmates and this is the result. The artist is a singer/songwriter and producer who is heavily influenced by artists like Kali Uchis and Mitski. Most of their songs are gender-neutral and a trending topic in their music is love. As a sentimental person and an advocate for mental health, Blue’s goal is to write songs that people can relate to.
