Anna Anna Howells North Yorkshire Anna has always been surrounded by music from her Irish roots to playing saxophone and clarinet in Yorkshire bands and orchestras. The greatest delight, at a songwriting workshop a few years ago, was the discovery of her voice. It's been described as smoky, rich and its best when shared. In only a short time, she’s learnt to play the guitar and performing her songs is now something of an addiction. Her passion for music is inspired by her passion for people: she’s an English teacher in FE at Keighley College and has worked in journalism. The joy from working with a diverse group of people has often been the stimulus for her songs.
