Tistre_(Dinzu Artefacts /DNZ43/2019)excerpt by andreaborghi published on 2019-09-17T10:02:26Z Yarn sewn fabric played on prepared turntable and stylus. Tistre is the first outcome of an experimentation with textile supports, made by Andrea Borghi in 2018, during a residency at Lottozero textile laboratories in Prato. Fabrics and yarns are the materials with which he creates discs the shape and size of a Lp. He plays them with a prepared turntable, in order to exploit the reliefs of the weft and the warp as a surface from which to produce the sound with the use of special self-built styli and electronic treatments. Tistre follows the path taken by the artist with Discomateria, focused on experimentation with different materials such as glass, resin, metal or marble, which become the source for the production of sounds. https://www.dinzuartefacts.com/ https://andreaborghi.com/project/tistre/ Genre electroacustic Comment by Gonso Ghost+ Yo i think the water is done boiling 2024-02-20T07:48:46Z Comment by noubba C’est très beau, on a envie d’entendre la pièce entière 2022-12-31T14:08:06Z Comment by shoko yano very nice 2021-11-04T05:43:50Z Comment by Frond love these sounds 2021-03-24T17:55:54Z Comment by Musique moléculaire label Super nice! 2020-12-05T16:56:54Z Comment by Regio Kei I like this kind of thing. 2019-12-07T06:49:27Z
