Steve Andrews Steve Andrews Lisbon Steve Andrews is an eclectic singer-songwriter from Cardiff in Wales but now based in Portugal. He is often compared with Neil Young. Also known as the Bard of Ely and Green Bard, he has a green beard. He has performed at the Green Man and Glastonbury Festivals, and was an MC at both events as well. He has been called a "Welsh icon" and is listed in Wikipedia as a "famous Cardiffian," and listed along with Shakin' Stevens as a "notable person from Ely." His song You're a Liar, Nicky Wire was produced by Phil Moxham of The Young Marble Giants and fronted the Taffia EP on Crai Records. It was rave reviewed by the NME. Recently Andrews has worked with Jayce Lewis as his producer at Northstone Studios. The two musicians created an album of 10 songs entitled Songs of the Now and Then. It is available on bandcamp. Andrews successfully auditioned for Britain's Got Talent and was featured on the televised show.
