Japji Sahib English Katha - 37th Pauri (2 of 2) - What is Sachkhand by Basics of Sikhi published on 2013-07-25T13:08:55Z Japji Sahib English explanations / Katha of 37th Pauri and SachKhand. This recording focuses on the second half of 37th Pauri of Sri Japji Sahib, where Guruji explains the fifth and final spiritual state, i.e of Sach Khand, where the consciousness becomes totally One with Vaheguru, the Eternally True Being. This is Turia Avastha (7th bhoomika) also called Sehaj Avastha and Chautha Pad. We explore why Sach can also the Shabad and why Sach Khand can be the Sadhsangat, i.e Heaven on Earth. Perhaps if we focus on recreating heaven here on Earth, rather than aiming for a transcendental heaven, we can reform this world? We sing Vaheguru Simran and kirtan of "Sehaj Katha Prabh Ki Att Meethee" by Guru Arjan Paatshah in Raag Suhi. The kirtan was done in Raag by Kirit Singh from London, who has grown up as a Sikh. With Guru's blessings, the Sikhi in English series will be going through the entire Sri Jap Ji Sahib, (the very first Bani in Sri Guru Granth Sahib) and trying to understand it in English alongside singing Gurbani kirtan to help explain further. The programme is held every Sunday from 6-7pm at Park Avenue Gurdwara, Southall. English katha alongside kirtan and simran by local kirtanees. Please give us your darshan and sangat.
