Mr25Keyz Aaron Wilfork Freeport Who is 25 Keyz? The name 25 Keyz may seem new to the musical horizon, but Aaron Wilfork, the creative power behind the name, has been a force in the music since the dawn of Bass music. Initially signed to Beware Records alongside Miami Bass pioneer Kooely C, he remained working on the outskirts of Cut it up Def Records and the Dawgzillaz project before Jealous J (now multiplatinum producer Jim Jonsin) and Aaron combined talents on projects such as White Dawg and Paperchasers Entertainment. Aaron also made inroads with his own work as an in-house producer with EKG Records, and producing the Romeo ‘s 1995 cult-classic "Bump 'n Grind". Fast forward to 2012, when Aaron unveils the 25 Keyz moniker focusing on bridging classic Electro and Miami Bass with the new school sound. Tracks such as "That Bass (Ever been to Miami?)" and "Inkredible" brought 25 Keyz to the attention of Hugo Bassman, the premier Electro and Miami Bass radio mixshow DJ from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Hugo recruited 25 Keyz to record the now iconic theme song to Hugo’s syndicated show “UniBass”. From there, 25 Keyz tributed the legendary Maggotron by reworking Ose’s classic “Computer Funk”, which found its way to becoming the opening track on Miami Bass History’s debut mixtape before MBH selected “Get Down” to be featured on their “New Wave of Miami Bass” debut 12” vinyl. 25 Keyz stepped into a new period by taking the mic and recording the instant classic “Make Noize (Bass Party)”, and the ante was upped with the follow-up "Make Your Body Move”, a song that led Danny of Phatboy Entertainment to publicly remark "…a really difficult task to bridge the gap between Miami Bass that is true to its roots but yet still be relevant in the 2012 music scene. Does this song do it? You better believe it.." Once the legendary Jam Pony Express Djs discovered the song, they opened their 2013 mixtape using the track. And this was only the first year of the 25 Keyz moniker. Armed with history of the scene, the music, the sounds, and the feel, the heartbeat of Miami Bass is 25 Keyz!
