Marco Nodari - Singer Songwriter
Marco Nodari’s passion for music started at the age of 6, studying the guitar and then moving onto the piano.
During those years he developed his first attempts at “building compositions” for his earliest songs.
At the age of fifteen he started playing in some local groups and performing at concerts in the province of Mantua, and in various Italian regions as a musician and songwriter.
After many diversified experiences in night clubs and concerts in several tourist resorts, he presented a song in a competition at the Cantateatro in Mantua where he won first prize.
At the age of twenty, Marco was selected by the prestigious songwriting school founded by Mogol CET and was subsequently accepted to the course as a composer. He completed the course with brilliant results and was asked to remain in the school as an assistant for courses with various teachers like: Mango, Lucio Dalla, Mogol, Cheops (author for Laura Pausini) Stelvio Cipriani for film score music, Ornella Vanoni, Gianni Bella Mario Lavezzi and many others.
After winning a scholarship issued by the CEE for a singer-performer for which he passed all the tests with excellence and became the sole representative on the school’s website
with his own song.
Meanwhile, Marco established a more confidential and professional relationship with Mogol and began to participate with the teacher at many national events, serving as a musician, artist and songwriter by performing Mogol’s well known hits as well as his own songs.
Marco became part of the team Nazionale Cantanti and participated in Rai-Mediaset television productions and performed in concerts with artists such as Mango, Umberto Tozzi, Marco Masini, and others.
After the eight year experience alongside Mogul, Marco began to work as a producer in other musical projects: music for theatre , commercials, dance music for foreign markets and producing records for other artists as well as his own.
Hence the idea of making his own independent label : "Canzoni Buone Come il Pane “which deals with the production and distribution of music online worldwide as well as collaborations with other major record companies. The same label has a catalog of over 1000 songs ranging from dance music , pop, Instrumental to traditional and represents the opportunity for many young people to enter into the music world.
Marco has worked for RAI TV as a sound specialist for some successful programs such as “Ulisse” (Alberto-Piero Angela) and other documentaries. He had an important collaboration as an assistant to Stelvio Cipriani , the world renowned composer known for many soundtracks such as “Anonino Veneziano”.
Currently the label "Canzoni Buoni Come il Pane" produced the first album of Marco Nodari, "Buonasera Signorina," a project-designed by Nodari in collaboration with Bob Benozzo ,the producer known in the international arena specifically for Latin music and several times nominated for the Grammy Awards , and Cesare Chiodo , bassist and producer for Laura Pausini, Mina and Celentano.
"Buonasera Signorina" sees, at last, the artistic and musical depth of Nodari. The result is a unique and original fusion. The elegance of his voice with the sound and arrangements make this album an interesting result of creative maturity.
"Bella Italian", a track that is part of the CD, was chosen in 2010 by several American sites (ciaoamerica.net & others) to become the official soundtrack of Miss Italia America submitted by USA Network, Latin America and the world.
This project is, in fact ,dedicated to the Italian community in the world and includes some cover songs of Italian classics, Spanish songs and original songs by the author.
