Listen to the Brancusi's Workshop ! by Centre Pompidou published on 2017-11-13T09:55:19Z Constantin Brancusi and his workshop Born in 1876 in Romania, Constantin Brancusi lived and worked in Paris from 1904 until his death in 1957. Most of his works were created there in Paris. In his will, he bequeaths to the French State the totality of his workshop. In 1997, his studio was rebuilt identically on the piazza in front of the Pompidou Center with the aim to host his collection of 137 sculptures, 87 bases, 41 drawings, two paintings and more than 1600 photographs and original prints.
