Chris Colombo has always had a passion for music, nightlife and the entertainment industry.
As a teenager in the 80s, he grew up with soul, disco, funk and hip hop. His first musical shock was the title "I feel love" by Donna Summer released in 1977, which was also the case for many people of his generation.
Chris didn't go a day without music and his life was punctuated by it. At that time, his parents could not afford to buy vinyl turntables. Regardless, he saved up to buy his first guitar at the age of 14 and took electric guitar lessons.
At the same time, he managed to record his first mixes by editing using a radio-double cassette set of the time.
In 1996, he entered the entertainment industry and began a formidable career as a Lighting Designer which would last 15 years and take him to the four corners of the planet.
Through this profession, he has worked for several big events and live shows around the world, as well as on nightclub designs in several countries.
In addition to living from his passion, it was during this time that he was able to meet and collaborate with the greatest recognized musical artists.
In 1997, he had a second shock when he was the lighting designer for a major techno festival in Paris during which Chris met for the first time one of his techno "maestro", Carl Cox in person. Throughout the mix the magic operates and Chris enters into perfect artistic harmony with the music. This sequence remains an unforgettable memory for him.
From 2004 to 2014, Chris Colombo played in many clubs, private parties and released his music on streaming platforms, just for fun.
His job as a lighting designer allowed him to touch the turntables of the best clubs on a daily basis, and even to play some Warm ups before lighting the biggest DJs in the world such as:
Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, Dennis Ferrer, Dubfire, Carlo Lio, Booka Shade, Reboot, Dash Berlin, Ferry Corsten, John Digweed, Sacha, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren, Nic Fanciulli, Axwell, Mark Knight, Dirty South, Uner, Hernan Cattaneo and many more...
Many of these big names have noticed in him a great musical talent and have been able to testify to his solid knowledge of music, which allows him to understand the mix very well and therefore create a light in perfect symbiosis with the DJs.
Today, Chris Colombo continues to realize his dream, producing and distributing his music on global platforms, while waiting to collaborate with renowned DJs.
His main musical influences are: house, tech-house, techno, electro, funk, soul...
