Dawn Chorus - Nernier, Haute-Savoie, France by World-Sounds.org published on 2014-04-16T18:47:31Z On a recent trip to the small village of Nernier, situated on lake Leman, I woke up at 6 am and headed into the forest to record the dawn chorus. The main birds that feature are a Wren and a Song Thrush. There is also a Blackcap, and a Goldcrest at times as well as a distant Chaffinch. Recorded using a stereo pair of DPA 4060 mics into a Sound Devices 722. Thanks to Harry Hussey at BirdForum.net for help identifying the bird species. Genre Dawn Chorus
