Drella Bradford Inspired to fight against the economic struggles facing their hometown of Bradford, Drella is the project of Jonny, Toby and Alfie, who combine politicised lyrics with gritty guitar riffs, catchy bass lines and thunderous drums to deliver their brand of alternative rock. Their recent single “Divide” was championed by Tom Robinson at BBC 6 Music, who described them as a band who “not only talk the talk, but also walk the walk”, as well as Alyx Holcombe at BBC Radio 1, who said “they make me want to mosh and get feral!”. The track was also named Track of the Week by Emily Pilbeam at BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire and was described as “a high-octane masterpiece” by RGM magazine. Drawing inspiration from the likes of The White Stripes, IDLES and Kid Kapichi, Drella’s energetic sound promises to deliver an exciting live show. “The political bleakness of our contemporary age affects almost everyone… Drella are here to give voice to that fury and show us that we’re together in our isolation” - Poppy Bristow, Fresh on the Net Drella’s tracks Guillotine by Drella published on 2024-01-29T20:56:29Z Nothing To Lose - BBC Introducing In West Yorkshire (23.09.2023) by Drella published on 2023-11-25T18:15:58Z Nothing To Lose - Planet Rock (24.10.2023) by Drella published on 2023-11-08T00:40:37Z Nothing To Lose by Drella published on 2023-08-03T21:34:12Z Divide - BBC Radio 6 Music (24.05.2023) by Drella published on 2023-05-27T00:56:59Z Divide - BBC Radio 6 Music (BBC Introducing Mixtape) by Drella published on 2023-05-22T18:59:00Z Divide - BBC Radio 1 by Drella published on 2023-05-09T13:15:17Z Divide - BBC Radio York Welcome to the North by Drella published on 2023-05-08T12:38:23Z
