The Plant Lovers EP is follows the same format as RR001/RR002. Kicking off with 2 down tempo soul tinged tracks that are then remixed and aimed strictly at the dance floor, On theRR003 A1 label boss Eliza Rose teams up with Mkulu for a jazzed up cover of T-pains Up Down. Re-working the original lyrics Eliza turns the songs sentiment on its head, repowering the women and reclaiming the dance from the male gaze. Originally released in 2015 the song has been refixed and ready for its dubplate debut. B1 Sees Eliza team up with close friend and long time collaborator Peaky Beats for the dubbed out daydream of Flowers. Here the duo rework The Wallace Collections 1976 hit Daydream, a track that despite being endlessly remixed and sampled the pair still manage to put there own unique spin on it creating a bass heavy dub riddem that would feel at home on any sound system. For part 2 of the Plant Lovers EP the consistently incredible Kylin Tyce steps up for the A1. His Westside Soul remix of Up Down is a bouncy summertime affair that cannot be denied as an absolute heater. On the flip we have one of UKGs most exciting and talented producers , Introspekt residing in LA this badgal brings the LA heat to her remix of Flowers. On the B2 we have one of Hackneys finest. Angel D'lite steps up and flips the script of the dubbed out Flowers to a create a killer Jungle/ Hardcore/ Tekno inspired track that is undeniably a force to be reckoned with.
