Eyelee "Origami, Pretend to Love Me" out now on all platforms. Eyelee is a Korean-Canadian independent artist looking to cement a legacy in the music industry. From out the bedroom studio, Eyelee blends synth-pop, dream pop, and other indie elements to create dreamy, emotionally charged art pieces. Using soft vocals and ambient synths, Eyelee tells stories of people's lives and their highs, lows, and everything in between. To Eyelee music is not just about making listeners feel an emotion; it's to tell complex and personal narratives that listeners can relate to or be taken on a journey with. As a child, Eyelee had an affinity for art—whether it was drawing, making comic books, or writing stories for his family, Eyelee loved to bring the chaos of the mind to life. This passion for art led Eyelee down the path of film and music, directing and acting in short films and creating soundtracks for them. These films would go on to win various awards in film festivals, including the Fil Fraser Award: a Rosie Award from the Alberta Media Production Industries Association (AMPIA). Eyelee would then take the limited knowledge and experience in music and make it the focal point in 2022, and in 2023, would release the debut single "u do" with Homour. This collaboration propelled Eyelee's obsession with music, inspiring the creation of the next single: CONTANIMAN.
