Fractum was born in August 2001 in Mexico City, by the hand of its creators Jesús González and Odín González, after experimenting in a sound art more focused on the genre world music with its sister project EHECATL, the inevitable artistic curiosity arises to explore new concepts as well as rediscovering itself in a more radical and raw sound experience, initially fractum born as an aggressive cyber punk project and explicit lyric protest towards human problems, No more Fairy Tales is the name of its first production where it is explored In a relevant way, the radical concepts of a revolution of consciousness, its creators have always believed that radicalism, rather than a form of social and cultural expression such as tattooing, dressing in black and using churrigueresque gadgets and being brutalized with drugs and alcohol, is a way of life, is to be congruent with what is said and do things out of conviction, not only because of belonging a social tribe and be cataloged as a member of them, the message of fractum goes further, trying to spread issues of important human relevance to the masses and reach that spark that some minds hope to discover, is a commitment through an expression artistic, is to inspire the inner development of being at the hand of music.
After working on other musical projects and taking a long break with fractum, it was decided to create a new production. Conspiracy for the Masses was born as a second production in 2005, with clearer concepts and a more mature vision, its members They looked for a fresh, progressive and changing sound.
The most radical change arises in the decision of his vocalist to make this production more melodic and leave aside the aggressive nuance that was in the past production, this decision caused a huge change in sound and lyrics, everything took a course more responsible and more clearly in what he wanted to express in it.
Subjects such as interior search, empathy, sadness, compassion and respect for all forms of life found the approach desired by its creators, being its standard animalism and its dissemination, setting the example in its life, being the only project of this type in Mexico that defends veganism and respect for animals.
In this 2017 fractum I remastered and re-edited the two albums up to now, giving them a fresher and more professional sound, a preamble for a new production after a long time without any track made by fractum.
