Music for "Death Doesn't Bother Me, Anyway". The Story of Dan Pierotti by Freddy Knop published on 2014-11-10T04:10:09Z In September 2014 the Wisconsin based radioprogram To The Best Of Our Knowledge asked me to compose six very short pieces to accompany a few sections of their fascinating 5-part-series on Death. The music that I produced is based on chrystal-clear fieldrecordings and the sounds of a Fazioli 308 grand piano. All six pieces are very raw and minimalistic and in a way I feel that they really BELONG to this story (as opposed to standing for themselves) "'Death Doesn't Bother Me'. The story of Dan Pierotti". To The Best Of our Knowledge info: "In 2014, Dan and Judy Pierotti invited us to be part of the end of Dan's life. From early conversations with Dan - a retired Lutheran Minister and social justice activist - about the afterlife, through his final days and funeral, the Pierotti's give us unique access to their process of living through death."
