George Ross 6 George Ross Hammondsport This photo was taken around 1973. I studied classical guitar at Crane School of Music, under Professor Randy Reed. An amazing teacher and pedagogy specialist. Around 2000 I got into instrumental amplified, acoustic guitar. These days I'm back to playing classical guitar as written, and sometimes improvising on those themes. Very cool. I have been composing since I was 14. A few years ago I branched out and began doing what I call musical landscapes via keyboard and computer: An endless bag of instrumental tones; Doodles or stream of consciousness. The point is, music belongs to all of us. It's vital to keep one's artistic spirit flowing. I have made money as a music teacher. This is not about money....or how many people listen. It's about creativity and making the world a more beautiful place to live. These landscapes are my donation. STYLES: Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, techno, trance, folk, meditation, musical landscapes. As a music teacher, K-5 I composed a ton of songs for the kids. I recorded demos for them, and often added their voices or instruments. https://soundcloud.com/mr-ross-6 George Ross 6’s tracks Remembering Brenton by George Ross 6 published on 2023-03-07T01:40:59Z Etude 2 by George Ross 6 published on 2023-03-05T12:15:41Z Etude 1 by George Ross 6 published on 2023-03-05T12:13:15Z Etude 3 by George Ross 6 published on 2023-03-04T16:28:44Z Barefoot In The Rain by George Ross 6 published on 2022-09-10T13:02:55Z Sitar In C by George Ross 6 published on 2022-09-09T12:08:24Z We Are Marching by George Ross 6 published on 2020-06-16T19:30:16Z Water Fairies, solo guitar by George Ross 6 published on 2020-06-16T17:07:20Z Under a Dark Moon by George Ross 6 published on 2020-06-16T15:47:54Z Waterfalls (solo guitar) by George Ross 6 published on 2020-06-16T15:47:51Z
