"Hodie Christus natus est" (Motet in four parts, a cappella.) by Göran Kjellgren published on 2016-08-29T15:37:26Z I wanted a more contemplative, and measured exposition of the text, rather than excessively jubilant, which is so often the case. Genre Classical Comment by Nadir Wonderful polyphony! Voice parts are divine! 2019-01-21T21:15:21Z Comment by Musicar Magnificent 2018-07-19T10:20:52Z Comment by Synthgrinder Lovely. I had only heard snippets of Palestrina's music in a music class I took while getting my BA degree...AFTER I retired. After seeing your comment below, I went back to YouTube some complete scores of his work. His is beautifully measured work, and yes, it is reflected in your work as well. 2018-06-05T12:50:17Z Comment by Stan Magendanz Excellent! Motets for 5 voices is a firm favorite of mine :) 2018-04-25T10:19:09Z Comment by Göran Kjellgren @cristina-s-10: Thanks Cristina. It may be obvious, but my all time favorite composer is G.P. da Palestrina. 2017-10-13T17:37:18Z
