Living All My Dreams by Isaac Cherry published on 2014-03-17T21:26:03Z I wrote and recorded this demo for The Cherry Street Project in January 2014 as a collaborative song with an MC. I sampled my own drums that I played from previous Ragged Blade Band recordings. It never made it onto anyone's project, but I was proud of it because it was my first song where I learned how to use a Korg sampler in conjunction with a Korg drum machine. I also played bass and tambourine, and Jerry Rabushka played all the keys and synths. And I added my vocals to the track. I envisioned someone else singing and playing bass. Drums are what I am better at. There are lyrics written but I am still working on this track however, it may never get finished but, I like where it was heading. I was inspired by all my recent travels and the poverty I escaped, Stevie Wonder's, "Mistra Know It All" as well as music by Lady Daisey and Batsauce because those were the records I was listening to at the time.
