Judy Street Judy Stewart Nashville,Tn Judy started singing at age 13, in Phoenix, Arizona, accompanied by her father on piano. All the classic 1940’s songs such as: Misty, Fly Me to the Moon, Girl from Ipanema and Almost Like Being in Love. In 1968, she moved to California and recorded a 45 record - “What” with H. B. Barnum/producer. Later in the 70’s it became a massive hit in England on the Northern Soul scene (#23 out of the top 500.) With this recording, she changed her name to JUDY STREET. From California, Judy traveled across America singing with a show band. "Society." Then staying in Southern California continued to sing and play drums with her own bands for the next 20 years. Some of the most requested songs were from: The Carpenter’s, Anne Murray, Linda Ronstadt, Rickie Lee Jones, Bette Midler & Bonnie Raitt. 1991, moved to Tennessee and in 1997 found out that the song "WHAT" was a massive hit in England. She Performed her hit in Blackpool (2012) & Skegness & Preston (2014) to her fans and was able to experience “WHAT” a legend she truly was there. In Nashville, she was a soloist with the Christ Church Choir for many years and recorded “There Is A God.” Currently, she enjoys singing songs at Retirement Centers in Tennessee, through Music For Seniors.
