Kid Fourteen Khodor Ellaik Paris Kid Fourteen is the solo moniker of Khodor Ellaik, a Lebanese musician and songwriter currently based in Paris, France. Khodor’s musical journey started in 2010 when he and friends formed the band Beirut Scum Society drawing inspiration from the early punk movement. They went on to release numerous demo tracks and one seven inch split on Tian An Men 89 but disbanded in 2013. After a short stint in New York, Khodor came back to Beirut and formed the No Wave outfit Friendly Faces with 3 other friends, but also shortly disbanded after playing one show only with Dirty Beaches back in 2014. By 2015 Khodor started experimenting with pop sounds, noise, electronic, and post punk to shape his own sound that quickly became Kid Fourteen - Releasing his debut album “Dream Kids Never Sleep” by 2016 with Lebanese label Ruptured. Two years later after touring and inviting Xiu Xiu to play in Beirut, a collaboration with Jamie Stewart directed Khodor to the label Pinyon, where he released his second album “Blood-thick Silence” and single ''Everybody wants a strong man'' in 2018. Khodor toured extensively between 2016 and 2019, and by 2020, He had recorded, arranged, mixed, and mastered his third album “Love" that was released on his own label Kidsplay. It was re-released on Red Vinyl in 2021. He moved to Paris, France in 2022 where he is expected to release his 4th studio album ''A Brief Emotional Dragon" in spring 2023.
