Ludwigslust Lullaby Cape Town Hey there! Welcome to our Soundcloud! On our page you will hear the forgotten sound of the watercourse that once ran through this precinct. The image is based on a sketch done by Johannes Cornelius Poortermans C1834. It is a view of the commencement of the botanical garden ‘Ludwigslust’ owned by German nobleman, Baron von Ludwig, chief of Police in Cape Town at the time. The image would have been done in the area just diagonally opposite the Engen garage in Kloof st, looking towards the Groote Kerk in Heritage square. Brought to by Paris Brummer, Sue Greeff and Daniela Puccini If you have feedback or comments, please send them to Sagreeff@iafrica.com or parisbrummer@yahoo.co.za or leave a comment under our featured track/sound Thanks for looking!
