Luke Byler Luke Byler Kansas City When I was a freshman in highschool I recorded my first rap song with a friend of mine (@brayforte) but I did it more for him than me. After I went to boarding school I met Matt (@mattthemk) and he started making beats for me on his iPad and we used his iPhone as a mic. Later that year the music teacher gave us access to his office and some mics. We used Audicity as our DAW. This was when I began taking my music and songwriting more serious, I even got to preform at the talent show we held my junior year. When I came back to the States I had a hard time adjusting. It wasnt till a year later when i had a conversation with Will (@who_is_tre) one evening late last October. He was going to KU at the time and told me about how he did not want to do architecture, switching to something else. Sometimes you get exactly what you thought you wanted and its not what you really wanted, but that's another story. During that conversation I did my best to encourage him to stick with it but knew that his resolve for music was too strong. I had been working ony own but not taking it too serious. From that conversation Will went his way and I went mine. But I could not shake this feeling that he was on to something. Later, during winter break, Will sat me down and talked about this vision God had given him. About how he wanted to be able to build a bridge, breaking down barriers and showing people there is a different way to live. My desire is that you hear and see life unedited, find truth, and ultimately hope. Luke Byler’s tracks Outro ft. Tre' & Bray Forte (Prod.
