M.C. Davis M.C. Davis started his journey writing music for piano in the mid-90’s; however, prior to this decision, he studied the bugle and was Captain of his school’s Drum and Bugle Corps, which he later fell in love with the trumpet under the direction of Jane Bauer at the Hughes Academy. Following this chapter, he auditioned and was accepted to the Fine Arts Center, centrally situated in Greenville, SC where he grew up, where under the direction of Dr. Gary Robinson, he honed in on his ability to write music in studying Music Composition and Theory. Fast forward many years later, and after a 21-year Navy career, he has continued his love for writing compositions for solo piano. Today, there are hundreds of solo piano artists all around the world. Even so, M.C. Davis stands out in his unique, melodic sound, which soothes and calms in this busy, noisy world. His music will resonate with the pace of the world, as it is poetic in nature, thought-provoking and may even leave you with a few questions after you've intimately felt his tracks. Although this album "The Simple Life" is his first professional debut, he has recorded over 100 tracks ready and waiting to be published in the near future. So, take in all of his music and as you grab you next coffee or martini listening to his music, remember you too share in the connection that his music brings to the world. In fact, you are the final connection in this musical journey. M.C. Davis currently resides in Santa Fe, NM and still records his compositions in and outside of the studio. When he’s not recording music, he’s a professional cybersecurity CEO for a small technology firm, with an emphasis in data privacy and anonymization.
