I started my search and love for music in the early 1980's with the break dancing scene in its early stages. I rocked old school tracks by Run DMC and Supersonic moving later on to more gangsta shit like NWA and ICE Cube, Snoop, Biggy smalls etc. I always listened and enjoyed all genres of music and always kept an open mind about the artistic approach to the song. Sometime in 1990 was my first exposure to electronic music by necking huge chocolate wafer pills while partying at Club Lavela. I wanted more from the DJ's with many mixes and selections from that time and I knew something was magical, the right vibe if you will, when a DJ could bring the people together on the dance floor.
I didnt love the breaks or house of the time because I was yet to be exposed to the right people so being a maverick I immersed myself in Jungle and dnb.
Many of my friends later in the 90's moved to Gainsville FL where a whole new scene was taking off. The early Harvest Fest was an eye opening experience, especially seeing Dubtribe play live and my love for house quickly became a new passion. I taught myself to mix, beatmatch, and select music with help from close friends such as Greg and Jeff Schnoor, Rod Brooks, Philip Moore, Jason Descant, Bob Fisher, Lance, and of of course the benchmark DJ's such as Mark Farina, DubTribe, Deep Dish, and so many other great DJ's that I looked up to.
With a hefty student loan while attending UWF I purchased my first set of Technic 1200's that took my skill set to a whole new level... I'd carry those bad boys everywhere and through down anywhere that would here my music and to be honest was pretty shit at the time considering my learning curve.
I've made it now, always will be something I love to do with friends is get together and let the 1200's and friends play for days on end.
Keep the house vibe alive!

Some of my favorite Hunter S. Thompson quotes.
-Buy the ticket, take the ride.
-Call on God, but row away from the rocks.
-I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.
-The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.
-The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.
Thanks for taking a look and listen, leave comments and stay connected.
