Mr. Konfuze And Lunatic www.facebook.com/konfuzeandlunatic London Ever since Mr. Konfuze & Lunatic can remember they have been into funky music. They both grew up in the late eighties and early nineties, so that is where most of their influences can be tracked down. From HipHop, Rock & Electrofunk to Funk, Soul, Disco, early Breakbeats & Pop they grew up to a world of Dance Music. Lunatic can remember doing Pause-Button-Tapes in the early nineties and Mr. Konfuse was heavy into crate diggin’ by that time. So it wasn’t hard to figure out, that buying turntables was the thing to do. One thing led to another and they both found themselves working with various people on their musical projects. Eventually they met in 2000, but it took some DJ work to bind them together. After having a leftover routine from their 2006 MixTape, blending HipHop with it’s funky originals they developed their Dancefloor Smasher and Breakdance Hymn „On The Beatbox“, which was played on this years Battle Of The Year and is „still on heavy rotation“ in heavyhitter Marc Hype’s playlist. It is soon to be released on Nova Gain Records. Another tune in the pipeline is „Rock Da Freak“, massively influenced by nineties dancefoor, but it still sure is funky! This one’s going to hit you on January 30th, 2010 on Manmade Records Feature Funk Vol 4. Mr. Konfuse And Lunatic got more in store. You can expect other songs on various labels around the globe and after the project is going to peak with their first full length release on double LP in 2010!!! Needless to say, that all of their tunes are going to be released on vinyl only, so get it while you can!
