Naoshi Kukiyama Naoshi Kukiyama Tokyo Mr. Kukiyama has been offered commissions by well-known performers, including Kazuoki Fujii(one of Japanese prominent pianists ),Calefax Reed Quintet etc. His works have been introduced in various international music festivals and concerts including The Summer in Tokyo Music Festival. His recent music incorporates a mosaic technique, realized by his own adaption of time-frame-shifting. His main works include won the prize in "The Music Today(Toru Takemitsu) International Composition Contest" "Plume","Slip Frame #2" for 3 organs and Video projector, "Ascending Inflorescence" for a-sax, violin, electric guitarand piano,"Borea" for violin,"Slip Frame #3" for harpsichord, and "Leaf" for piano trio. Since his college years, he has been composing and arranging for TV news programs and advertisements, and theatrical productions,including "Jungle King Leo" by Isao Tomita,"Ultra7" by Toru Fuyuki. He has published, through Yamaha Music Media, a variety of popular music and arrangement scores. He has also published many educational scores with Zen-On Publishing. Mr. Kukiyama also teaches at THE TOHO GAKUEN COLLEGE MUSIC DEPARTMENT.
