Natalie Matos Natalie Matos Goa With a voice that continues to grow and melt her audience, Natalie’s music has often been described as ‘medicine’ or a ‘massage to the heart’. Having launched her second album, ‘eXhale’ Natalie surprisingly began her working life in law, business and CSR (corporate social responsibility) until in 2004 she visited Goa, the tropical paradise located on the West coast of India, and never left. Life in Goa nurtured the return of Natalie’s love of songwriting and the launch of her professional music career from 2009. Next followed the Isle of Ibiza for the summer months, where she met and later released tracks with DJ Rene Lezare, performing (amongst others) at the world renound Ibiza Rocks Hotel. In 2012 Natalie completed her acoustic album ‘Bird Soaring High’ – simple yet profound songs with a introspective folk feel. Back in Goa, she started working with drummer and Bollywood film music producer, Vivek Philip. A constant in Natalie’s music, they co-produced the single ‘Love Over Gold‘ which lead to a successful crowd funding campaign (Life's Surprises) to support the second album release. ‘eXhale’ fuses folk, soul, rock and jazzy, grooves, along with a hint of Indian classical, tribal and electronic vibes. Her trademark lyrics continue to offer strong, emotive, uplifting words that speak of a desire to access your own inner wisdom and follow your passions. A reflection of Natalie’s own extraordinary life, ‘eXhale’ is set to spread the message that anything is possible if you follow your heart and have the courage to jump!
