Nate Neuner Nate Neuner Portland Nate Neuner is a blues/rock artist out of Portland, Oregon. He is the lead guitar player for The Broad Strokes, a Portland based group, which he founded in 2014. Neuner began work on his personal side project in 2016 after years of material had become backlogged and unused. Influenced heavily by the blues, Neuner mixes the sounds of blues and rock guitar with a singer songwriter approach. He is influenced heavily by artists such as Bob Dylan and Lou Reed, as well as contemporary artists such as Jack White, and Eagles of Death Metal, an G Love and the Special Sauce. HIs attack as a guitarist combines influences drawn from the blues styles of Albert King and Muddy Waters, with the classic rock styles of Billy Gibbons and Jimi Hendrix. Neuner is set to release his first single "Last Six Bucks" in August of 2017 followed by the rest of a self produced demo shortly after. The demo will feature The Broad Strokes drummer Stu Falson, with Neuner recording all other pieces. Neuner hopes to use this release to form a full group and begin playing live by 2018.
