Sloth Camp Tampa In 1936 a small town suffered plague and pestilence. 11 women gave birth to what the town described as feral, clawed, masked and lethargic creatures. The citizens dispatched all but 3 of the mothers but strangely enough let the creatures live. The remaining mothers fostered all of the “children” and were quarantined to an abandoned and barren farm. The farm and its inhabitants became known as Sloth Camp. They were left to fend for themselves, surviving on what little they could grow and animals ( mainly rats) they could catch. An outhouse painted with images of lions and baboons and other creatures from distant lands started being worshipped by the “ children “. This is Sloth Camp...
