Premiered in 2012 by Carnegie Mellon Baroque Ensemble with conductor Daniel Curtis, Stephen Schultz (electric baroque flute), and Luz Manriquez (amplified piano). Genre Chamber Music Comment by The All-Purpose Piano I've listenedto this piece so many times over the past months, almost a year. It is so incredible. It sounds exactly how it's titled. Wish I could write music like this. I can't believe it doesn't have more plays. Minimalist motifs, textured with impressionistic harmony. It still reaches melodically like Chopin, but brings you back to something truley original and new. Man, I love the poly-meters and unexpected accents. Just as badass as the Chaminade flute conerto. I love this pieec so much!!!!! 2020-08-22T02:09:58Z Comment by mikedj72324 That Flute is soo cool!! :D 2014-07-17T01:00:00Z
