Nikary Coxx. formally known as Nikki E, is from Hampton, VA. She is a MC, poet, song writer, story writer and military veteran. She is a woman who believes to be better than the average female/male MC. Her thoughts on life are expressed through her lyrics. She came from a rough past and was fortunate enough to learn from those experiences. She takes her music seriously and this shows her hunger to succeed! She loves performing for people. Unlike most performers, she gets her high from the energy of the crowd. Her debut was opening for Jadakiss in Germany, later becoming a requested favorite on Def Poetry Nights every 1st Friday in Junction City, Kansas. She has performed on HIP/HOP nights at club 4play in Aiea, HI.
Her talent continued to progress which lead her to opening for Keak da Sneak, Nicki Minaj, Trina and Andre Nikatina Hawaii. She's opened up for Twisted Insane, Rucka Puff, Princess (Crime mob), K- Stylis, Paul Wall, Curtis Young (Dr. Dre's son), and Problem in the Seattle /Tacoma, WA, where she is currently doing shows on the west coast. She is featured on DJ Tati's Street Dreams 7, Fleet Dj's radio, and Broadcast Houston DVD Magazine with songs such as " Success" AND "16 BARS","#BlackLivesMatter", "Dance Like a Stripper", "Dying Breath", "Breaking Down" and "RIP". Nikary creates music for all demographics. Her main goal is to create music others could relate to, by becoming a voice for those who cant or are afraid to speak. She also creates the turn up style of music for the party-goers. The majority of her music explains who she is, what she is about, her journey and how she is bringing back Real HipHop..
She's held her own and building her foundation in the Seattle/Tacoma area as one of the most influential female artists in the city. Nikary also headlined her own show, which brought out the community. She worked with the University Of Washington's Revolutionary Poets organization R.E.T.R.O (Respect. Educate. Teach. Reflect. Observe)., not only by performing, but bringing social awareness to the community. Nikki E was a major influence at the #StopKillingUs Black Lives Matter peace rally by performing her song #BlackLivesMatter in Tacoma, Wa. She participated in the 2016 Fleet DJ's Music Conference in Charlotte, NC. Nikary's moved to Atlanta to pursue her career fulltime. Her major influences are MOS DEF, CELO, J. Cole, Common, M.C. Lyte, Missy Elliot, Lil Kim, Trina and T.I! They are wonderful rappers and poets! Much like Lil Wayne, she plans to collaborate with everyone because music is her life. Mary J. Blige has shown our young sisters that no matter what, we can make it through the hardest times and still come out on top. Nikary Coxx believes in resilience. Therefore, her mark in the industry WILL be iconic!!
