No D.N.A Beats Darren Gidado London No D.N.A started producing music at the age of 15 with software called Fruity Loops (FL Studio) under the alias BPM, an abbreviation of Beats Per Minute usually associated with measuring the tempo of a piece of music. With nothing more than a mouse and keyboard as his tools he kept practicing till he found it comfortable to make something catchy before working on achieving his own sound. Soon he was participating in freestyle/jamming sessions with Clement Marfo from The Frontline (Formally of Lyrically Scar’d). From then on in 2008 he began turning his hobby into a profession, producing for artists like S.T.S (Salute The Streets), Miss Dymumds, The Shy Project and Master Shortie. Since then he has crafted his sound but he is also constantly trying to evolve with something fresh and indistinguishable from the last, he thought his name needed a change to reflect this so he came up with the name No D.N.A; that was the perfect description. His sound ranges from Hip-Hop, to Electronic Dance Music with everything in-between including R&B, Acoustic, Dubstep and Rock. he currently produces with Cubase 6.5 and Logic Pro X using a Novation SL61 MKII and the Maschine Mikro MKII.
