Song To Sivar by Oak Sun published on 2018-05-03T05:25:25Z This is a song I wrote to my country of El Salvador, which we all call locally "Sivar." It's also a song about loving something for all of what it is, and for all of what it's not, equally; It's about growing strong through it all, through tides and dispare, like untamed petals in a garden. The lyrics are free prose, free verse, like most poetry that comes out of El Salvador from poets like Roque Dalton. This song is dedicated to the memory of Marco Vieytez.
