I was initially surprised because on his own podcast he'd explicitly stated that one of the worst places to start with Hegel is The Philosophy of History, so curious slip. I mention this less so to be snarky but to make sure listeners don't accidentally start with The Philosophy of History, which I'd gotten down from my shelf to look at the intro/preface, but was clued off when he said it was three volumes (TPoH is one). 2020-06-28T19:54:28Z
