1915 The Armenian Files | Live | RAI Radiotre Battiti | 2015 | Part Two by roberto paci dalò published on 2015-02-23T09:05:15Z 1915 THE ARMENIAN FILES A project by Roberto Paci Dalò After texts by Daniel Varujan 1915 is a date that reminds us all of the fragility of our human society and its incredible arrogance: Medz Yeghern (the Great Crime) also known as the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Roberto Paci Dalò after working in the area of image and sound in relationship with fragile human environemnt connected with historical diasporas and dramatic mass-movements (Ye Shanghai, Il grande bianco, De bello Gallico, a.o.) is now embarking into a new adventure that somehow summarizes and brings further his researches and interests. The project will be starting from these terrible events and through a continues research that sees the beginning of it with a week of radio, exhibitions, and live performances in Italy, Belgium and Austria between April 23 and May 3, 2015. The project will travel to Istanbul, Beirut (exploring the Arab Image Foundation), Erevan and several other places in order to meet people and collect images, sounds, stories, voices. It can be the starting point of a digital database, a hub for the development of a constellation of projects and collaborations. The outputs of the project will include the followings: - Concerts - Music-Theatre Performance - Film - Radio work - Interactive sound and video installation - Publications (book, e-book, record, dvd) - Exhibitions (drawings, sculptures, maps) This project is done in collaboration with Arthub and other organizations such as Giardini Pensili (italy), FuturePerfect Productions (New York), ORF Kunstradio (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation), Galerie Mario Mazzoli (Berlin).
