Accolades for his work include an Emmy® nomination, a Charles Ives Fellowship from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, a Fromm Commission, and multiple awards from ASCAP and BMI. He holds degrees from the Mannes College of Music and Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, studying with Keith Fitch, Claude Baker, David Dzubay, Don Freund, and Gabriela Ortiz. He presently serves as associate professor of music at Colgate University.
