sahiljagtiani Sahil Jagtiani Bangalore Born in Mumbai Sahil Jagtiani, a singer, songwriter and guitarist, has been involved in music from his teenage years. He has played in two progressive and multi-cultural soft rock bands from Hong Kong and London during his high school and college days. Sahil graduated from King's college, London with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management as well completing his Masters of Science Course in International Management from Birkbeck College in London. When he met H. H. Poojya Sri Sri Ravishankarji, he knew that he had found his Guru & Mentor. Guruji’s breathing techniques made such a positive impact on Sahil that he decided to devote entire his life in spreading Guruji’s message of love and peace and became a Full Time teacher with the Art of Living Foundation It was with Guruji that Sahil changed his musical preference, and he became more inclined towards satsangs and bhajan music. It was the earlier influence of western music that gave Sahil the desire to produce bhajans and made him present the same in a more contemporary manner. After playing in many satsangs (devotional concerts) for the Art of Living all over India, Sahil released his ten-song debut album Avataran from Times Music on 14th December 2002. The album aimed at promoting bhajans in a more universal manner. It is hoped that those who would not necessarily be inclined to listen to or buy "bhajan or satsang music" might find his contemporary music more to their liking. The fusion of Indian and Western elements gives him a ‘world music’ appeal. Sahil’s albums have seen him taking the role of lead singer, guitarist, composer, music director, keyboardist, sound engineer and programmer. He has done satsangs all over India and in aid of charities such as “Cancer Kids” and in festivals such as “The Kala Ghodha Festival” in Mumbai. He has even played in an Indian Embassy supported event in the “Mir” Hall in Moscow, Russia and has performed the theme song Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam during the Silver Jubilee Celebrations 2006 at Jakur Airfield in Bangalore in front of almost 2 million people. sahiljagtiani’s tracks With You (Instrumental) by sahiljagtiani published on 2016-05-31T08:42:55Z Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (Silver Jubilee Theme Song) by sahiljagtiani published on 2015-11-18T07:15:35Z Om Sample by sahiljagtiani published on 2015-01-27T16:48:00Z Cosi Fan Tutte Overture By Mozart by sahiljagtiani published on 2014-12-30T16:39:40Z River Rescue by sahiljagtiani published on 2014-08-20T18:17:29Z Kar De Kamaal Ringtone by sahiljagtiani published on 2014-03-10T10:02:32Z Yogathon Theme Song by sahiljagtiani published on 2012-03-14T12:22:09Z Appytunes Jingle by sahiljagtiani published on 2012-02-07T08:07:11Z Om Namah Shivaya (LIve) by sahiljagtiani published on 2011-11-17T17:31:29Z eTERNAL (Instrumental) by sahiljagtiani published on 2011-06-02T19:25:35Z
