• Saint Abdullah X HAB.B. • by HAB.B. published on 2017-01-13T14:07:50Z Saint Abdullah is an Iranian electronic duo now based in New York. They made a special mixtape for HAB.B. called Iran circa 1980. They are presenting here a set of sounds that captured the mood of Iran, literally and figuratively, during this very important era. They were interested in exploring sounds that were rooted in religious, political, cultural happenings of the time, and came to define the era. To this day, the Iranian experience during this era continues to have implications on the way Iran shows up and behaves in the world. They have sampled a mix of sounds / songs and also included three of their own.
