Olivia Rodrigo - Drivers Licence (Sascha Muhr guitar cover) by Sascha Muhr published on 2021-03-30T19:10:58Z Still got the Fender PM-3 on loan and wanted to do a simplistic 2-instrument arrangement of Olivia Rodrigos 'drivers licence' since I've been toying with the idea of doing my next album in an acoustic setting, with maybe just acoustic guitars and string quartet/octet. This is a bit rough around the edges, particularly with all the ritardando going on. Influences for this was John Scofields covers of pop songs Besides the PM-3 I've used my Ibanez JSM-10 going into the Bluguitar Amp1 for the lead guitar on the boosted clean channel. I've used the "Hall" mode on the Mooer A7 on a low mix and decay setting for the reverb on the Ibanez and used a bit of reverb in Ableton Live for the reverb on the acoustic guitar. While I do love warbling sound of the semi-acoustic I'm not sure another approach would be more appropriate to emulate Olivias voice. The transients come across quite harsh and maybe some volume swells on the Vigier or the Telecaster would have been a bit softer sounding. Enjoy :) If you like this, you might take a look around the channel or check out like my other original music on youtube or https://www.soundcloud.com/sascha-muhr and https://saschamuhr.bandcamp.com Genre Pop Comment by P è n i n ș o l a r Nice 2021-07-03T06:02:37Z Comment by Ha Kékong If this was pop music, then I would be in Heaven. 2021-05-27T02:06:11Z Comment by Sem3ion that noise floor sound makes it "true" 2021-05-06T20:06:53Z Comment by e☓ner super schön ! 2021-04-04T21:23:48Z
