I Like Water by sonic structures and silent stretches published on 2021-11-04T10:00:14Z Method: Voice and some rough asmr. Narration: Some persons on the autism spectrum do not understand what people take for granted. To understand them, we have to understand what we do not understand, i.e. what we take for granted ourselves. Text / copyright jo richter: These sounds sound. Some sounds mean. Do you hear which sounds mean? People sound a lot. People mean very little. Often, they do not mean the meanings they sound. Why is that? It is because people presuppose. People say: ‚I like water‘. You give them water. People get angry. They say: ‚Not now. In general‘. You are supposed to understand their anger. The anger arose because people presupposed context. You are supposed to understand their context. What is people‘s context? It is the world people live in. What is the world people live in? It is what people aspire. What people aspire becomes real to them. What people aspire becomes their world. People are very judgemental. They themselves are good. That is what they presuppose. Other people might become bad. Bad people don‘t act according to their presuppositions. Bad people don‘t understand according to their presuppositions. Bad people don‘t live according to their presuppositions. People value. People judge. Some people say ‚I like water‘ because they want to drink. Some people say ‚I like water‘ because they enjoy the oceans. Some people say ‚I like water‘ because they want to show that they are good people. Good people, in their world, like water. They don‘t like sugar. They don‘t like milk. They don‘t like alcohol. They like water. Water is presupposed to be pure. Some people think that purity is good. They show how good they are by liking water. They do not want to drink water right now. They want to show that they are good people. If you bring them water, they think that you do not see their goodness. They become angry. They become angry at you because they want to be good for themselves. They think you have insulted them by disregarding their presuppositions. People do not say what they presuppose. Often, people do not know what they presuppose. If you bring them water, they see the limits of their world. Most people regard this as an insult. They are good. Their world is the best world. If you show them the limits of their world, it is not the best world anymore. People feel disrespected. Everyone should understand that their world is the best world. If their world is not the best world, they get angry. Other people say ‚I like water‘ because they want water. If you bring them water, they are thankful. Their presuppositions have been met. Their world remains good. How do you tell the difference? You have to know people better than they know themselves. You have to understand their aspirations. You have to understand their presuppositions. You have to understand their context. Is it possible to understand people‘s context? It is not possible if people are people. People have to be acknowledged as persons not generalized as people. If you acknowledge indivdual people as persons, you can read their clues according to their contexts. This is hard work. This is hard work, indeed. Genre text
