Live! From the Vault #5 - KilPig "The Missing LP" (Noise / No Wave) by Steve Gabe published on 2022-09-16T17:08:29Z KilPig "The Missing LP" feat. No Wave/Noise/Punk Chanteuse NOZOMI One downtown fanzine said reviewing the Kamikaze Club Show "They have got to be the wildest band in a wild city. They sound like anarchy. They sound different. They sound intense. One of the group's members says they are democratic in that each member of the group decides what they want to play. Somehow if you can get over the initial shock it all comes together." ARTY JAZZ WITH THAT CRAZY NO WAVE SOUND! 1. Rock & Roll is Dead (Panama Brooks on vocals) 2. Got to Get Away to Avenue A 3. No Wave/Noise music is on the rise and due to the public's interest, I culled through the tapes and made this first pass at an album of the unreleased tranche. There is more studio (mostly recorded at Don Fury's Spring Street Studio as is the bulk of this end-to-end pre-release) and oodles of Live shows. We had our fun back then and now almost 40 years later No Wave/Noise is back more or less or LES is MORE as the comp cassette covering that latter day No Wave and nascent Noise scene is titled in the well-stocked Vault. "We're all stocked up! Go sell crazy somewhere else!" Genre Noise / No Wave
