070 GLykoL Steven Briggs Providence Dated: 2/23/2023 I haven’t touched a microphone, written or recorded a song in almost 7 years… Ever since the father of my fiancés cousins children was murdered… its a cold case that to this day still hasn’t been solved. Aside from me and LokoLos’ children being blood related second cousins. He also happened to be a very close friend/brother/business partner/teacher/mentor that idolized very much and looked up to, not just as a big brother but also as a musician/artist. He showed me there was light at the end of the tunnel, he gave me hope. Deep down I really did believe that we were gonna make it. There’s not a doubt in my mind saying that Strictly About Music wasnt gonna blow if given more time. But November 2016 was a cold month and I’ve never truly recovered from your departure and cuz of that I haven’t released a single track since. I was known formally as BrigZ and still have music videos as well as just tracks posted on YouTube as BrigZ and SoundCloud as Arraignment Entertainment but a couple of weeks ago I broke the curse by picking up the nearest pen and writing to beats that I like. I filled that gap that music once filled by becoming an amateur tattoo artist because I got that same feeling/high every time I would complete at tattoo that I was satisfied with that I got when I finished recording a song that I liked but ever since I started listening to to this new genre of music I’ve been listening to I no longer am satisfied with the music that I’ve created and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I’m evolving as a person which ultimately has changed me as an artist and a musician as well but I give alot of the credit to Witchouse 40k and 83hades for introducing me to this style of music. Not only do I thank them for introducing me to this genre of music I also want to thank them for breaking the curse and getting me back on my grind as a musician because this has always been my calling I still have student loans I’m paying from 2013 for perusing my degree in audio/video production at New England Tech. Ever since I listened/watched Grave Digger by Witchouse40k for the first time I haven’t put the pen down but since I’m not only evolving as a person but as an artist as well so I felt as if it was necessary for me to not only change my music genre but also change my stage name as well from BrigZ to 070 GLykoL. Since I’m the creator of Arraignment Entertainment (raw rap for real mfs) and I’m from the 401 which is the smallest state in the United States (Rhode Island) that’s where the “070” comes in because 070 is the fed # for RI if you go to federal prison those numbers are a part of your identification # and felt it was a good way to represent my state as well as went good with the theme Arraignment Entertainment. Then GLykoL was derived from Ethylene Glycol which happens to be the chemical that shows up in your system when someone dies from ingesting anti freeze lmao it’s basically the ingredient in anti freeze that kills people and the spelling is to honor LokoLos his logo that i have tattooed on me and that also happens to be engraved on his tombstone in the cemetery is two upper case L’s that are back to back almost resembling a Roman numeral 2 that’s why GLykoL has two uppercase L”s to pay homage and replacing the “C” in glycol with a “K” is also a tribute to him as well because when he first started rapping his name was spelled Loco but when he got older and starting living right he replaced the C with a K thus why glycol is spelled GLykoL. New material coming soon but feel free to check out my old projects on YouTube. Much love and respect to everybody on here especially the awesome people supporting me as an artist 💯 070 GLykoL’s tracks Lane Switch (Prod.
