LUNALIA 2.11.16 - Anna Serra Maja Jantar by stringing the red line published on 2016-11-15T21:30:17Z LUNALIA, lunalala, lunala, lunal, luna, la lune. luna: as in moon, tree, moth. alia: almost as in non-normative forms of speech. Concept developed, tried, enjoyed, explored by a rawlings and Maja Jantar in 2012. Now expanded to other voices, though the outtake stays the same - two bodies/voices, exploring sounds, languages, writings and noises. Recording every night during the course of one moon cycle - here from full moon to full moon. The two tracks are superimposed, centering them on their middle line, revealing hidden synchronicities, dissonances and harmonies. Specifically in this lunalia through circumstances it wasn't always possible for Anna Serra to record daily, though she did record multiple tracks on the first days of the project. Maja has used those tracks to add Anna's voice to the nights Anna did not record - in those cases placing Anna's tack at the beginning (in stead of centering the two tracks) with Maja's track following Anna's Here Anna and Maja reach for their moon. ************************************************ www.annaserra.fr/
