batteries (original) by szdl published on 2010-05-20T17:18:09Z I tried to do something different. I started with the bass line and an LCD Soundsystem influence and tried to do something that was different to all the stuff I've done before. Tried to make some kind of funky track that you could dance to. Ended up with the same post-rock guff that I always do. I'm really disappointed in myself. Sorry! Please let me know what you think anyway! Genre Glitch'n'bass, disco? Comment by szdl @fair-heron: Thank you! I was aiming for LCD Soundsystem style retro-indie-disco, but I'm glad it didn't really work. 2010-08-17T12:22:00Z Comment by Liam.Arnold More drop-outs like this would make it a more coherent dancefloor tune.... A better structure will let it run more. Good work. 2010-07-15T12:57:55Z Comment by Liam.Arnold Cool! I like the hectic disco - feels more like No Wave / Disco than LCD - most of their stuff tends to be aimed for the 4/4 128ish pitch, I like it mental. 2010-07-15T12:56:45Z Comment by Morphamish loving your sound:) 2010-07-14T15:24:03Z Comment by A Horse Called Horse I love the energy of this track too 2010-07-08T23:57:58Z Comment by The JuZ ShoW Relaxaing and far from boring :O) 2010-07-01T01:41:29Z Comment by The JuZ ShoW @szdl: Love the effects of the guitar 2010-07-01T01:40:54Z Comment by sivadnivek Definitely my favourite track from the set here.
