The Players Union - Tina's Glow (Original Mix) by The Players Union published on 2012-03-08T08:56:08Z The duo were last seen over the festive period taking Sir Cliff on a deep dubby disco trip, with their 'Ease Along' edit released under the smuttily named title "Stiff Richard". The track gained support from Aeroplane, Drop Out Orchestra, Unabombers, PBR Streetgang, Hot Toddy, Paper Recordings, El Diablos Social Club, Damon C Martin, Jay Vegas, David Dunne, Stereo Sushi and RTE FM to name but a few. This time the boys head back to their favourite year 1986 and keep the beats chugging along at 110bpm as they take to Tina Turner’s 'Afterglow' with some scissors and an open imagination. Apparently the track has been special to them since first casting eyes on the promo video that was filmed as part of the 'Break Every Rule' TV special. With such a groove it was an obvious opening number... Tina even got Steve Winwood in to tinkle the ivories! Released under the name 'Tina’s Glow', you'll be glad to hear there's a Main Mix and TPU Members Only dub in the package.
