Wiltrud Weber Wiltrud Weber Berlin Wiltrud Weber’s passion is to bring people together from all sorts of culture and countries that under normal circumstances rarely would share the same stage or room. Classically-trained and singing in at least 10 different languages she successfully developed her own fresh style bridging her operatic background with jazz, folk and world music. Weber’s distinctive voice is sought after for soundtracks of motion pictures. In 2014, she recorded the theme song and additional music for Viking Women. She also appears as Jewish singer Anna Wunder in Damian Chapa’s film "Father Rupert Mayer", starring legendary Hollywood actors like Daryl Hannah and Stacy Keach. Weber’s artistic versatility continues to invite creative and exciting collaborations. She performs her Hebrew/Jiddish repertoire “Shir La Shalom oder Vu bistu geven” with collaborators such as accordion virtuoso Enrique Ugarte who also is playing and arranging for renowned clarinetist Giora Feidman. August 2014 she performed the part of the singing DIVA in SOMMER 14 (Rolf Hochhuth), directed by Torsten Muenchow at the renown Bertolt-Brecht-Theater in Berlin. With her ENSEMBLE LONGUM MARE (string players of the Philharmonic orchestra Koszalin, Poland) she successfully performs her "Musical journey through Europe" concert program in Poland and in Germany.
